Chapter 1

Chuck and Mo sat in silence, watching Marcia type their details into the computer. The seven-eyed, pink, blobby travel agent stopped. She looked up, but seeing their gormless grins, quickly returned her attention to the task at hand.
After several more minutes of furious typing, Marcia sighed. She leant back in her chair and rubbed her triple chins.
Chuck smiled. 'Have you found somewhere?'
Mo held up the leaflet delivered with the morning paper. 'Like in your advert?'
Marcia shook her head. 'Not exactly. It's a little difficult in your price range.'
'We've got a coupon. It says to claim your discount take it to your nearest Intergalactic Travel Agent.'
Chuck nodded. 'Mo's right. It also states that children go free.'
Marcia took the leaflet. 'Oh, I didn't realise you had children.'
'I haven't. Well, not that I know of!' said Chuck, nudging Mo.
Mo peered at him and frowned. 'Well, of course you haven't got kids. You'd have to do it first.'
Chuck's cheeks flushed bright pink, and he snatched back the leaflet. 'Shut up Mo.'
'So, that's a no,' said Marcia.
          Chuck nodded. 'That's correct.'
Marcia tutted and began typing again.
          Several minutes later, she stopped.
Chuck and Mo leant forward and stared at her.
'I'm sorry, even with the coupon, I can only find one destination. It's polluted, war-torn, corrupt, chaotic, and they eat junk food all day. Oh, yes... it's also infested with human beans.'
'Brilliant, we'll take it,' said Mo and grinned.
'Wow, yes, that sounds terrific! Where is it?' asked Chuck.
'Planet Earth,' said Marcia, handing them each a brochure.
Chuck flicked through the pages. 'Looks pretty enough. What         is it? Some kind of zoo?'
Marcia cleared her throat and began typing. 'Eh... not exactly. It's more of a... safari park.'
'Oh, goody, but what exactly are human beans? I've never heard of them,' asked Mo, scratching his head.
Chuck narrowed his eyes and peered at Marcia. 'They're not dangerous, are they?'
Marcia sniffed. 'Look, this is all you can afford. Your only other option is the iron ore mines of Mars.'
Chuck held up his hands. 'No way. I told you we're not going there. We work all year underground mining Element Z-115 and have set our hearts on a change of scenery. We want a bit of excitement and adventure.'
'And maybe some romance?' said Mo, winking at Marcia.
'We don't organise those types of trips,' said Marcia, shaking her head. 'So, what's it going to be?'
Chuck and Mo glanced at each other and shrugged. 'Okay, Planet Earth it is!'
